Need a heartfelt song to express your inner feelings aboutthat special someone, yet can't find the appropriate tune? Well, that's where Colby Shupe comes in with Boy Writes Song for Girl. Featured in this past week'sInPortland section of the Oregonian (07/12/07), Mr. Shupe'sbusiness is simple: he meets a guy, asks questions about the guy'sgirlfriend, then writes a song for the girl "that's (almost)guaranteed to make her cry". The fee is a minimal $75 for a cd withthe personalized song, $25 extra for a live performance. Shupe'smusic is best described as a beautiful blend of Bob Dylan and TheDecemberists. His webpage ( www.myspace.com/boywritessongforgirl) has samples ofhis tunes. My recommendation is "Wide Screen Dream" (there aren'tenough songs in 6/8).

BWSFG is run by Sam Leach. Colby was his first customer.
Pricing is now a flat rate of $200.00
