The G.R.O.W. 2008 conference (Growing Real Opportunities inthe World by Beginning Locally), Sat., Jan. 26, 2008 from 8 a.m. to7 p.m. at Portland State University, is co-sponsored by Intel andWorld Affairs Council of Oregon and is designed to create anongoing collaborative forum for the business and nonprofitcommunity in Portland, to tackle issues centered on the topics ofhuman rights, sustainability and the environment.Cost forthe event is $30, which includes breakfast, lunch, reception,access to all skills development workshops and project plans.
