Gorge OEN

Gorge OEN is the first chapter of OEN outside of the Portland Metro area. Gorge OEN serves Hood River and Wasco counties in Oregon and Klickitat and Skamania counties in Washington.

 

In alignment with OEN, the mission of Gorge OEN is to provide support activities and mentoring to the entrepreneurial community to foster business growth and employment opportunities.  Gorge OEN brings entrepreneurs together to explore, exchange and nurture startup ideas; connect with service providers and business colleagues and introduce investors to promising ventures.

 

In addition to deploying PubTalk and the Gorge Angel Conference, Gorge OEN coordinates its efforts with the Gorge Angel Investor Network (GAIN, LLC) and numerous economic development and business organizations.

Gorge OEN Education

NEW!  Gorge OEN Accelerator Boot Camp - 8 Week Program

In eight intensive sessions selected companies, in any industry, learn to structure, plan, develop and manage their businesses.

Mentors, coaches and online curriculum developed by the Oregon Technology Business Center are combined to effectively prepare companies for funding opportunities.

 

The program culminates with "Demo Day" -- an "invite only" event for Boot Camp graduates and angel investors.  Space is limited, for complete information visit the Gorge OEN Boot Camp page.

Gorge Angel Conference

 

 

Gorge Angel Conference - April 23-24, 2012

 

The Gorge Angel Conference is a networking, education and investment event where seed stage to established growth oriented businesses compete for a "Key" to enter the Gorge Angel Investor Network Negotiation Room.  Anticipated investment is up to $100,000.  Call for company applications will begin in December 2011.

Gorge Angel Investor Network

The Gorge Angel Investor Network is an investor group dedicated to supporting and growing new and emerging businesses by investing in the Gorge.  This group currently includes investors from Hood River, The Dalles, White Salmon, Bingen, Underwood, Mt. Hood, Mosier,

Houston and Vancouver.
